WHAT IS FERAL WOMAN?

Feral Woman was created by Anna Bailey and Emilia Carter, two friends and housemates with a shared literary vision. Both undergraduates at the University of Oxford, they believe that the power of art can change our world for the better. The magazine got its name by accident: when Anna called Emilia a "feral woman," Emilia took it as a compliment.

Feral Woman is a literary magazine that focuses on the artistic intersection of feminism and environmentalism. Despite our name, we want to hear and share the voice of anyone with a passion for experimental poetry or visual art. Submissions are currently closed, but you can read our first issue here.
